About the necklace
The necklace chain is 16.5″, the leaves are tiny and sweet – one representing you and the other your child or children. Each necklace was handcrafted by Tres Joli who sells her jewelry on Esty.com. More about your new necklace…
This necklace represents the growth, passion, love and strength every single mother carries for herself and her children.
Inspired by my readers and their input I worked with an Etsy designer to create this custom necklace. The larger leaf represents the single mother – finding herself again, the open leaf is ready for a new beginning. The second smaller leaf represents her child or children.
Single motherhood can seem like the most daunting and challenging experience a woman can face but if taken on with strength and acceptance of change only good things will come.
Know that you are not alone in your journey on both the dark and the light days because there will be hundreds of other single mothers wearing this same necklace.

Ohhhhhh, I absolutely LOVE it. It's better than I thought. Even though I re-married, most of the time I still feel like it's me and B. I guess I'll never lose my single-mom mentality. And guess what, I'm happy about that.

I've been a single mom for six years. These years have been the hardest, most agonizing, most indescribably beautiful years of my life. And now, through some miracle, I have found an amazing man who loves me and adores my son. And I find that I am ready to share my life again – and my home (he'll be moving in in a few short months). I've been looking for something to symbolize this new chapter in this still new life. Your necklace is perfect. I am a single mama who feels like she's made it; not because I found a man, but because I found me.

what is the necklace made out of? i love the design!!

I really like this necklace. It’s symbolic and attractive and nature friendly all in one. May I ask a small suggestion, can you make the pictures brighter and a little more detailed? I read the description of the necklace and I am puzzled as to where the small leaf is as a symbol of the child/children? Thanks in advance.
