We got an earlier flight out…instead of waiting until Tuesday morning to see Benjamin – it will be tomorrow at 1:30p.m.!!! Some background – I haven’t seen him since Thursday when I dropped him off at grandma’s so I could jet off to a work conference. This is the longest we’ve ever been apart.
I’ve been calling him every day. Keep in mind – when faced with a speaker phone conversations Benjamin is usually silent. But each time I’ve called he’s been a little chatter box.
Benjamin: “Abbabaa dabba you dattta me dubbba deeeouyaaaa!! Mommy!”
Me: “Wow baby! That’s so exciting, I’m so glad you’re having fun.”
Benjamin: “But…me…abuddaahhhh babale!!!”
Me: “I know honey, I love you too.” Repeat several times until Benjamin accidentally hangs up the phone. [click to continue…]

I don’t have time to write but just wanted to pass this on…apparantly Airborne has settled a class action lawsuit by agreeing to refund customers, even if they don’t have a receipt.
I personally have sworn by Airborne, but as this Blogger points out – who knows if it really works.
Lately I’ve been taking Zinc every day (because one of you guys tipped me off on the power of Zinc, along with Emergen-C). Haven’t been sick now since the last blow out over a month ago. (Knock on wood)

This is dedicated to every parent who hasn’t slept through the night for months and months. Until 10 days ago my 2 year old has been waking up nearly every night. I have had few all-nighters streaks but… on average he’s up at least once, maybe twice or three times a night.
Maybe I’m an idiot and every other mother knows this – but just in case I’m not -here’s how I got my toddler to sleep through the night. [click to continue…]
