How often does this happen?
Morgan (Modern Single Momma), Jim (Depot Dad) and I are having such an amazing weekend! We’re on our way to downtown San Francisco to interview people about dating and dating a single mom or single dad. We just shot this little video in the car on the way into the city.

I miss Benjamin like crazy but Grandma says he’s in heaven out in the woods with his uncles … making bonfires, playing in the mud – all of that boy stuff. Flying out tomorrow, hopefully I won’t freak out all of the parents with toddlers on the plane again.

No husband to pamper me + one adorable two year old son who has no concept of holidays = me, treating myself to a new ring, a new super cute hat and an even cuter new dress! (I know, I splurged. Oh well)
If you haven’t already – go treat yourself. Even if it’s just some new nail polish or a magazine!
And HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY my single mamas!
Did you pamper yourself today too? Were the kids good? So far Benjamin has been especially pleasant, minus dumping an entire bucket of toy dinosaurs out at the store and locking himself in the dressing room. That was fun.

Just a few of the reasons why I love Spring.
Somersaults. I did one today! Thanks to Benjamin. I can’t even remember the last time I rolled like a log down a hill, but I did that too.
Topless male runners. Hot guys running with their shirts off should be illegal. Seriously. I’m going to drive off the road. Please put your shirts back on. Please.
Airplanes. Every time Benjamin sees one he jumps up and down screaming with joy. And then he raises his arms into the air, flails his little hands and shouts at the top of his lungs, “Hellllooooooo Aeerrooowwwpleeeenne!
Napping with the windows open. I don’t even know where to begin on this one. It’s just so deliciously perfect.
