This necklace represents the growth, passion, love and strength every single mother carries for herself and her children. The larger leaf represents the mother – finding herself again, the open leaf is ready for a new beginning. Single motherhood can seem like the most daunting and challenging experience a woman can face but if taken on with strength and acceptance of change only good things will come.

I can’t edit the page because it will mess up my paypal code so here are a few tidbits about the necklace:

1. I do ship to Canada, but apparently I am not allowed to be sending jewelry there. If your necklace does not arrive I will refund your $$.

2. The chain on the necklace is made of brass. Be careful wearing it in hot weather with sun screen, you may end up with a ring around your neck. With that said, it’s a minor issue only a few of you have mentioned. The cool thing about the brass chain is that it wears in time and takes on a vintage, antique look.

3. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase I will give you a full refund but you will have to ship them back to me.

Anne and Kelly – should be available in silver by mid-August, if not sooner.

Alessandra – yes, I ship internationally. If you could just add a few dollars to your paypal purchase to help me cover the cost but if not, no big deal. International shipping costs aren’t that expensive anymore and I just want you all to have a necklace.

I’ve been trying to order the silver one since yesterday but the paypal account is giving me problems. It won’t allow me to fill in all of the info & then it keeps giving me errors. Any suggestions??

SHIPPING UPDATE

Hi Kendl: I am shipping them out on August 13th. Sorry for the wait but I don’t even have them in my hands yet. I knew you were all so excited so I put them up. But they are on the way and will be here when I get back from vacation.

And to anyone who orders the brass new leaf necklace or set, I will be shipping those out on 8/13 as well. Sorry for the brief delay but a vacation is in order.

Allison – that is SO weird. Please call PayPal customer service. They are so helpful.

funny right after I got divorced, and regained that whole “i am secure in my singlehood” feeling I went and got a butterfly tattoo. Sorta symbolizing my freedom, with my kids initials hidden in the wings! Thanks Alaina! Have fun on your vacation!

OHHHHH!!! SILVER!! I will be buying a set sooooon. The necklace I never take off is silver so although I really love the brass one I don’t see me wearing it as much as the silver.

Yes, I do ship to the UK. I only have 3 silver necklaces available at the moment, but I have plenty of the brass. They are all actually 17″-18″ in this batch… so you should be fine on length.

If you order and I am out of the silver, you will be placed on a short waiting list. The next batch should be here in a few weeks.

I love, love, love the necklace & inspiration behind the design, way to go girl!! Q: I noticed on the necklace pics they look very different. I love the larger, chunky chain with the bigger circle piece, not so much the dainty one. What is the difference in price, etc.? Pls let me know how many are avail in the larger, chunkier style, I have a couple of girlfriends in mind…!
