I found another purse for one of you thrift shopping this week.
Isn’t it cute? It’s a mustard brown. Yum. Yum. So soft and cushy.
Not real leather, but sure looks like it. The price tag? A whopping $2.99. And my gift to you.

I read all of the entries to the first thrift giveaway and couldn’t bear choosing. I appreciate all of your comments, but who am I to judge who deserves a prize the most. So… I totally copped out and used Random.org. The winners are:
1. A super cute vintage turquoise wallet. Lovie Arthur. (Love your name, lady)
2. A black and white scarf. Will go perfectly with this season’s brights and patterns. Jacy. Randomly drawn, but so deserving. Her blog is here.
3. A pair of genuine snake skin vintage heels. Size 8, they run small. These are the real deal. Beautiful! Heidi. I think you were one of the only ones who wanted the shoes, so you just get them and clearly you have earned them.
I thrift shop on a weekly basis. It keeps me out of trouble and I can get my shopping fix. There will be more of these contests. Do you like?

That purse is too cute. I recently finished school and need to start dressing like a grown up so I can find a teaching position. Purses are always a great addition to an outfit to make it more “grown up”. I wish I had access to great thrift store finds.

What a lovely purse! I love thrift store shopping as well….like you said, it’s a good way to get your shopping fix without breaking the bank. I’ve made some lovely finds myself over the years.
I LOVE the look of this purse! I just bought a lovely brown dress…which I throughout was black until I got it home and my husband mentioned my new brown dress “WHAT????” Anyway – I still love the dress but struggle with purse and shoe options – this lovely mustardy shade would go perfect!!!! I would love it!

Now that’s fab! I love thrifting, however where I live in FL (mostly seasonal residents) the selection is less than desirable. It’s either tacky juvenile crap or gaudy grandma vogue. Chic vintage finds are few and far between…

I also love getting my “fix” from thrift stores and garage sales. It gives me an extra bounce in my step that I can look just as great as women in my life who don’t have kids and can spend $$ on themselves. I want to tell the whole world ‘Look at these jeans! They only cost $3!”

I been thinking all day due to soreness that I should get a darn Father’s Day present too. I took my 6 yr old daughter to see Marinda Crosgrove in concert last night and had to put her on my shoulders so she could see. We had a blast and well worth the pain today:-).
