Years ago I poured my heart into an eBook meant to accompany this blog and to be the perfect primer for any new single moms starting to date. The result, Ms. Single Mama Uncensored, is over 100 pages of juicy post-divorce dating goodness. All of the secrets I could never publish here are there, in grueling play-by-play detail.
I spent two months straight writing it, but could have spent another two years. I discovered that there were stories within stories. And so many thoughts and ideas about dating as a single mom that I wanted to share. There is so much more to it than any one can imagine, isn’t there?
The book takes you through my first post-divorce relationship, my first hard core crush and then my first few relationships. And now, as a civic duty to single mamas everywhere – I want to give it to you all for free.
All you have to do is fan Ms. Single Mama on Facebook. Just click that button up there.
And winners of Job Jenny’s one hour of career consulting are:

Your book is amazing! I am already on p40. I wish I had this in my hands 3 years ago when I was newly divorced with a 5 and 3 year old. I am getting there, and hope to get there one day. Thank you!!!
Wow! Thanks so much for doing this! I am going through a divorce right now and am a newly single mom. I have so many thoughts going through my head. I know I will appreciate your words and experiences. You seem to be really down to earth and I am grateful for finding your blog!!
I did have a thought- going back to your blog entry with the list of “must haves” for the next relationship you are in, do you have all the numbered items on it in your new relationship? (I assume yes, since you appear to be blissfully happy, but just thought I would ask!)
Thanks for being a source of hope in that things will get better. =)
Alanna,
Yes!! I just re-read my Must Have man list (http://mssinglemama.com/2009/12/17/the-must-have-man-list/) and yes, he meets every one of those requirements. There are a few more I should add… including:
1. You must feel lightning like sparks when you are together. ; ) No compromising, honeys. He is out there.
Thanks for downloading – hope you love it!
Love it! And love that you have found that!!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks so much! I can’t wait to get started. I know I’m one of the few single dad’s that post but I am excited to ready and learn. Over the past several months I have had the pleasure of getting great tips and just learning about being a single parent.
So I downloaded the book this morning and I am on page 83! Holy cow…I can’t stop reading!! I LOVE IT!!!!
Just download id
.. tnx
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and the book! I downloaded it a few days ago and finished it this morning. There were many times when I was nodding my head thinking “uh huh, uh huh, exactly – that’s exactly how I feel!” or thinking “thank goodness it’s not just me that feel like, oh, so this stage is normal.” I’m 4 months as a single Mum to 3 lovely kids (all under 7) and only just starting to find my feet with this new life I’m building for the kids and I. Finding your blog has been wonderful – thank you, thank you!
Love Jane
Hey Single Mama, I’ve spent about an hour now clicking around and reading the first thirty or so pages of your ebook. Happily divorced now four years a role playing bass in a local band thrust me into journaling my emotions then crafting lyrics. It was tremendous outlet that surely preserved my sanity. In fact I had no concept of the worth of my journal until my new pup litterally at it! I’m curious, how often do you get men inquiring/commenting? Dan
Hey how can I download the book ?
Thank you so much for this wonderful gift. Over the past couple years you have become an inspiration to me. You gave me strength when I was afraid to separate from my ex-husband, when I started blogging, when I went through my divorce and when i started the unfamiliar territory of dating again.
Cool! Would love to read your book, too! Have you considered writing more books in the future? A novel, perhaps?
I would love to… it’s a dream of mine – as soon as I have time.
Love this blog. Very good and easy to read and it isn’t boring at all. Thank you. I am seperated and in the process of divorcing and reading this has really given me hope.
Thanks!
