Fully Loaded?

Wow.

Do any of the scenes in this trailer for Fully Loaded, a new independent film about single moms look familiar to anyone else?

Saw this tonight and had to share. Visit the movie’s Website for more. Hope it comes out on DVD soon, or makes it to theaters. Absolutely love the scene when she throws a beer bottle at the ex’s head.

Any other great single mom movies you love? There aren’t very many that truly capture our story or spirit. This one may. The only other one I know of is Chocolat.

“Waitress” is my favorite single mom movie (and she makes glorious pie throughout the film).

Now, how am I going to feed my down the street neighbors cat (as they are on vacation) with a zonked out sleeping 3 year old? Hmmm.

I watched the recent one with Kate Winslet and have also seen the 1945 one with Joan Crawford. It’s like a single moms worst nightmare

“Living Out Loud” when Holly Hunter pegs a scone in her ex’s face, followed by a confrontation in an elevator. In the next scene when she is explaining the confrontation, she states, “The situation clearly called for me to attack him.” LOVE THAT! She is not a mother, but is struggling through the divorce process and well worth watching!

I wish i had the strong mama sassy-ness of Erin Brockovich.
Mermaids is another favorite and Imitation of Life if you want a real tear jerker.

Baby Boom. Diane Keaton – proving we can have it all.
I knew it by heart by age 10.

Gilmore Girls – TV, brilliant though. The single mom I wanted to be before I was a mom.

Hope Floats. Best sad/happy real single mom movie ever. (Plus, Harry Connick Jr in a cowboy hat …)

Do you mean the Kate Winslet movie “Marrakesch”? I found it pretty good.
A more light one is definetely Mamma Mia!

There’s always “Look Who’s Talking”. I love the scene where she is imagining life with Travolta and they’re eating the thrown out foods from the grocery store dumpster. That movie took on a whole new meaning after I had kids- some scenes that were just funny before took on a heart-catching reaction…

Mama Mia! That mother daughter duet pre-wedding always does me in. I can’t help but sob.

I Could Never Be Your Woman. Paul Judd is the adorable man wishing to date the single mama- love him! Michelle Pfieffer is the single mom and Tracey Ullman is her fairy Godmother. So adorable just watch it.

Waitress. Single mama triumph!
