Fathers Day

by mssinglemama on June 22, 2010

It has been 11 years now without a father to celebrate Father’s Day.

There are very few fathers I’ve met who can hold a candle to my own. Obviously. What girl with a father like mine wouldn’t feel that way? I’m a bit biased.

But, fortunately for this lucky girl, Papa Bear is one of them.

Father'sDay

I know I’m a few days late, but if you still have a Dad – give him a hug for me, a tremendous endless hug. And tell him how much you love him. There really is nothing quite like the feeling of standing next to your dad, or even being near him, let alone falling into the hug only he can give.

In lieu of more words, there’s a new batch of photos up in my Summer gallery.

[And, an update on my absent little man, I am starting to miss him. I’ve been working, working and working with some playing. I’ve also been taking a lot of time to myself which, as you can imagine, is proving to be absolutely delicious. But now, 8 days in, I am feeling the itch to have him back].
