I often skip to the end of a story before it even starts.
My relationships are no exception.
When one begins I imagine the end.
But usually they don’t begin with flowers on Mother’s Day and a card from your three-year-old son.
I am telling this story without knowing the end and without predicting the end.
A new leaf.

We met at 7:30 in the morning.
“So how much do you guys know about search engine optimization?” I was mingling with the crowd, getting a feel for their knowledge on the subject before I started my presentation.
“I know a bit,” he said modestly.
I quickly discovered that he didn’t just understand SEO, he lived and breathed it along with blogging, social marketing, web site development and all things interactive. He couldn’t possibly be single, I thought.
And those eyes with that smile.
I went up to present, making jokes the entire time – as I often do – about the keywords pointing to this blog like “most beautiful men” and “how to date a single mom.”
“It’s so cute,” I said, “all of these men who are in love with single moms.”
I looked at him when I said this and he was smiling.
Afterward he handed me his business card, “We should get together so we can ‘geek out’ about all of this stuff.”
“Definitely. Next week I’m free.”
Our geek session turned into a date after the first bottle of wine when he asked, “I’m not imagining this am I? I mean there’s something going on between us, right?”
He was adorable. And he was right.
[Sorry to be a tease but I am beyond exhausted].

Have you seen the movie "Last Chance Harvey"? It just came out on Tuesday and it is so good. It might be worth checking out – it's kind of about an unconventional love story & overcoming our tendency to expect to be disappointed…

This is like the movie I have watched over and over again "SASSY GIRL" (original version) A love story told online and it got too many fans that it attracted producers to create a film for it. Hmmmm… I wonder what your movie's title would be? Please share your thoughts with the blogs I'm starting, It will be of great help.

Boo! Boo, sayeth I, for the teaser post! ;-}
Given that the entire purpose of this blog was to find a man, I'd say, "Well done!" and call it a day. For those wondering about the details, it went like this: Boy meets girl, they hump. No mysteries here. It's a story as old as time, it's the circle of life…
So happy for you and looking forward to hearing the rest!
I had to come check your comments after seeing your twitter post. BAH! (is what I say).
You sound happy about this new guy….I totally know how you feel. (for me, after almost a year, I still feel that way).
I am so happy for you
I think the rude comments are laughable and entertaining for all of us. That''s why you don't censor, right? We all need a chuckle every once in a while.
Rock on mama!
So cute. You totally deserve it!!
It can be scary to reveal beginnings before you know the end off the story. Kudos!
I loved this post.
