I’m loving my first little poll.
It was a dead heat between those of us who went on our last date 1-2 weeks ago and those who went on a date over 1 year ago! Now the 1-2 weekers are edging ahead. SO before I close the poll let me know when you had your last date. This is important single parent research people. And it’s fun!

Excellent. Does a date with a cat count? You know, when the kid is away (with like a reall nice social life), and they sit next to you on the couch and lick your toes.
I’m going to forward your blog to my friend…she lives in Oklahoma, and is a single parent & has some of the same questions, problems, joys, downs, as you mention…I think your blog is perfect for her!
How come “1-2 weeks ago” is the most “recent” answer? My last date was yesterday morning…we met for coffee. We’re both self-employed (and insufficiently so, sad to say). He has his girls this weekend and we can’t go out. Instead, we took advantage of 3 hrs with nothing to do until my lunch meeting. We had a very nice chat over coffee and enjoyed the beautiful unseasonable weather. Are you jealous? Do I win a prize?
