They were all completely consumed by men - in one shape or another - the entire time. . Carrie (the anchor, our heroine) was completely consumed in what people thought of her, what she was wearing ... etc - to the point where it drove Big away (or not). I don't want to give anything away. Maybe in a few months...I'll come back to this post and spill my guts. It seemed less real than the show. More glossed over. I wanted to learn more lessons for my life right now. The things I related to in the middle of the movie weren't relevant in the end. I found it gave inspiration and reminded us that we CAN put ourselves first and still be able to have a man in our lives if we choose. It reminded us to remember the strength and importance of friendship. It grew appropriatley with the ages of the women. Finally, I found that I could identify, personally, with some of the situations, something that was strangely comforting. Almost like it was a justification and realization that I'm not the only one....hmmmmm.... I have to say that I LOVED it!
