echo.jpgI had no idea Mark Ecko was so inspiring.

He started his own fashion line in the ’90’s. Quality skater clothes. In the New York Times this week there’s a great feature on his trailblazing efforts to break into the fashion industry.

Not sure who actually wrote this article because the byline says “By Mark Ecko, stomach as told by: Bobbi Demsey”

What does “as told by” mean?

I’m thinking…it means Mark told the story to Bobbi who then wrote the article.

Big difference? Ummm…yeah there’s a difference.

Anyway, healing according to Bobbi or Mark, viagra order

“Whatever you do in life, be passionate about it. At least once a month, if not every day, reassess what you’re doing and make sure you still love it. If you’re passionate about something others around you may see as a dead end, pave your own way. Be a trailblazer.”

Hell yeah! I could kiss whoever actually wrote that line. They read my mind.

Trailblazing is highly recommended, especially when you’re a single mom breaking all of the damn rules anyway. We’re trailblazers by default.

When I popped Once in, physician I couldn’t even remember what it was about. I ordered it from Netflix ages ago. The description says it’s a love story and a musical in Dublin. Oh boy. I usually hate musicals and couldn’t remember why I ordered it … but god am I glad I did.

This might be a bit of a spoiler…but I want you to read it anyway, especially if you aren’t going to watch it.

So girl meets guy. Lovely music, beautiful songs. But she’s acting elusive and talking about “responsibilities.”And then she asks him to dinner. He walks into her apartment and there she is … a sweet little toddler! She’s a single mom!

Guy’s face warps from a beaming smile to shock as he puts two and two together. What a way to tell a guy, huh? Then after dinner guy leaves and this is the scene that almost made me cry … the mom just starts cleaning and cleaning. Doing the dishes, sweeping up and then she collapses on the couch into a ball of pure exhaustion.

I don’t want to spoil the end. I couldn’t find the scene when he walks into the apartment … but you get a glimpse of it in this trailer.

P.S. Watched the last 20 minutes with Benjamin and he LOVED it.

Have you seen any good movies lately? Please tell me … time to order some more from Netflix. And here are some more movies I love.

She’s a college student and now (officially) a single mom. Momma Cum Laude has been blogging about her pregnancy, sildenafil her fears, cure her joys and her doubts in her daughter’s absent father for a few months now.

And today little Anna was born. She’s 8 lbs, online 1 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. So pop over and wish her the best.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, in this world that’s harder than caring for a newborn. Well, maybe fighting in a war zone. But seriously, during the first few weeks after Benjamin made his little debut I felt like I was in a war zone. So hats off to you Momma Cum Laude…we are all sending you calming vibes and hoping you’re getting some sleep. Remember, sleep deprivation is a form of torture. So if you feel like you might absolutely lose your mind…that’s normal.

The best piece of advice I can give you: ask for help if you can. Don’t be too proud. I made that mistake and still do…
