On the package it says that the doll "coos and gurgles" and "Says mommy." Read that list again and see if there is any mention of "Also says 'Islam is the light.'" I thought my sister was crazy when she told me that her daughter's new doll, purchased 11/4/08 at a local Wal-Mart, says that exact phrase. I thought that this must be along the same lines as playing records backwards and you'll hear a death threat kind of thing. I have heard it. It says it plainly. I called Fisher Price. All I got was, "The doll is not programmed to say that, but we are aware of it. We will be recalling them to remove the chip. I'm not sure when." Meanwhile, those very dolls are sitting on the local Wal-Mart shelf. If the doll is "not programmed to say it," then what? Is it possessed like Chucky?? I am advocating a boycott of anything Fisher Price and Wal-Mart. I also think that we are owed an explanation of how this happened and who is responsible for it. Thanks for letting me vent.
